After far too long, the in-person arts have returned! There are plenty of free events courtesy of Glendale’s Arts & Culture Commission to help celebrate the visual and performing arts this week. As part of their current process of learning about communities statewide, you have the opportunity to make your voice heard by telling the Commissioners where your community begins and ends. This information will enable them to make districts politically proportional to the population giving us all a fighting chance at fair representation.
Celebrate Pride Month Online!
Pride Month includes celebrations such as pride parades, picnics, parties, workshops, symposia and concerts, and LGBTQIA+ Pride Month events which attract millions of participants around the world. The purpose of the commemorative month is to recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally.
