After far too long, the in-person arts have returned! There are plenty of free events courtesy of Glendale’s Arts & Culture Commission to help celebrate the visual and performing arts this week. If you feel like venturing beyond our neighborhood, check out events in Downtown Los Angeles and Leimert Park this weekend.

Glendale Library, Arts & Culture wants to create a new space for teens at Central Library! We want to hear your thoughts and incorporate your input on what you would want to see in the teen space.

As part of their current process of learning about communities statewide, you have the opportunity to make your voice heard by telling the Commissioners where your community begins and ends. This information will enable them to make districts politically proportional to the population giving us all a fighting chance at fair representation.

Pride Month includes celebrations such as pride parades, picnics, parties, workshops, symposia and concerts, and LGBTQIA+ Pride Month events which attract millions of participants around the world. The purpose of the commemorative month is to recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally.
