What is the Memory Lab?

Do you have collected memories in media like VHS cassettes, negatives, slides, super 8 frames, photographic prints, vinyl records or audiocassettes? Glendale Library, Arts & Culture now offers equipment that you can borrow to preserve your memories digitally from the comfort of your home!

Glendale Remembers: The Memory Lab is to honor and commemorate the diverse cultural heritage of our community by preserving it. The Memory Lab is here to help facilitate the documentation of your stories with tools to help you record or digitize recordings and photos you may already have. These resources are available at the Central Library for checkout, or for self-use in the Makerspace.

The Memory Lab was supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
